Many Names For The Sea grew out of a simple idea: the ocean speaks differently to every shore that touches it. Using AI as a creative partner, each track was written in a different language and dialect, from island patois to Italian and French, so the same swell, the same trade wind, and the same horizon could be sung about in the voice of the people who live beside it. Together the tracks form a single sea heard through many tongues.
